Ceramic filters - How long do they last?
The life of the filter is approx 2600 litres and we recommend that the replacement water filter cartridge is replenished with a new refill at least every six months for hygiene reasons. If you have high turbidity in your area, you can gently clean the filter with a brush or light scourer to extend it's useful life. Do not use any cleaning agents as this will ruin your filter. Ceramic filters are very fragile so take care if cleaning.
Carbon filters - How long do they last?
The life of the carbon filter is also approx 2600 litres. After this the filter will be saturated and it's effectiveness will be reduced. We recommend that the cartridge is replaced at least every six months for hygiene reasons. The Carbon filter cannot be cleaned.
How much filtered water can I use every day?
If you were to use your tap every single day, you would have over 14 litres of water available to use each day. Cooking with filtered water is healthier - vegetables such as carrots and spinach retain 28% more vitamin C and 50% more B2 and other foods like rice, pasta & fish show a marked improvement in quality.
